What We Believe (Statement of Faith)   

GOD

We believe first and foremost that God created and rules the Universe. He exists eternally in three Persons that are the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. 

JESUS

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God who lived a sinless human life. In the flesh he was both God and man and was born of a virgin, crucified on a cross to atone for our sins. He arose from the dead on the third day, demonstrating his power over sin and death.

MAN

Though man was created in the spiritual image of God, he is separated from God by sin which is an attitude of disobedience to God. We are in need of a Savior as we cannot save ourselves.

ETERNITY

Man will spend eternity somewhere whether it is separation from God in Hell or with God in Heaven. 

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned. It is only through trusting Jesus Christ as God's offering for forgiveness that man can be saved from the penalty of sin. Once a person becomes a true believer and receives Jesus as Lord and Savior they are eternally secure and cannot lose their salvation. However, sin will interrupt the joy of fellowship with God and bring about loving discipline from Him.

HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the son. He exists in the world to make men aware of their need for Christ and he lives in every Christian as promised by the Son.

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God's supernaturally inspired inerrant word without any mixture of error. It is divinely authoritative and is applicable in every age and every life.
